Born in southern California, Vivian spent her days exploring Hollywood, and evenings helping her mother with her script lines for various auditions and performances. Though she explored the stage herself, the written word was where she wandered to most. Her life was unusual and uncomplicated (mostly), with liberal doses of “why the hell nots”.
By sixteen, she’d traveled much of the US, eventually settling on the east coast.
There she met a man in need of a green card whilst she was in need of a husband (but that’s a story for a later time). They eloped after three weeks, and lacking the distractions of cable television, babies were born in quick succession. Over the following twenty-odd years, they raised four creative and brilliant children, while enjoying the more domestic side of adventure.
Vivian resides in Florida with that same husband (also a writer), their dog, and two cats. The children are grown, but live close enough to keep life perfect. Vivian writes, volunteers for numerous causes and says fuck much more than a woman of her stature should.
